Volunteers will sit at SFMGA tables located in various nurseries to respond to gardening questions from the public. You will interact with other Master Gardeners, working together to answer questions while sharing your interest in gardening and promoting the SFMGA.
Location:
Tables will be available at many of Santa Fe’s nurseries, including Santa Fe Greenhouses, Agua Fria Nurseries, Payne’s South and Newmans. All needed materials
(books, tables, chairs, etc) will be stored at the nurseries, so they will only need to be set up and later stored again. There will be no lugging of materials from location to location.
Goal:
To provide information to the public about gardening in and around Santa Fe while promoting the Santa Fe Master Gardeners Association programs and projects.
Looking for volunteers who…
Enjoy discussing gardening. Individual expertise, while welcomed, is not necessary because it will be a group effort to answer questions. A willingness to participate in the discussions and use resources is a must.
Work Schedule:
Tables will be scheduled from April through July on Saturdays, Sundays, and some weekdays, varying with the nurseries schedules.
