Garden Fair

In a nutshell…

Description:
Annual Master Gardener’s Association Garden Fair, to be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 10AM–4PM. The Fair includes speakers, exhibits, MGA Demonstrations and Info Booth, and a Xeric and Native Plant Sale. It is a FUN day and a great way to meet and work with other students, interns and Master Gardeners. There will be local experts, representatives from clubs and societies, greenhouses and nurseries – all under one roof for the gardening public.

County Extension Buildings, 3229 Rodeo Road
Goal:
Offer novice to experienced gardeners the information and local resources needed to garden responsibly and successfully in the challenging Santa Fe environment.
Looking for volunteers who…
…would enjoy working on this fun project. Assignments can include setting up the exhibit halls, decorating the building interiors, directing parking, helping with plant sale, or staffing the "Ask a Master Gardener" table.
Work Schedule:
3 hour shifts the day before and the day of the Fair, Friday April 23 and Saturday, April 24, 2010

Great opportunity to be part of a fun event and earn credit hours!
Reporting hours:
  • Public Contact (PC) for staffing "Ask a Master Gardener" table
  • Organizational support (ORG) for your labor in running the fair smoothly
  • Continuing Ed (CE) for attending lectures
