Description:
Public service gardening answers both via phone and online. Certified MGs and Interns provide help with all aspects of home gardening. Team members have these resources for their answers:
  • The SFMGA library
  • Personal experience
  • Consultation with County Extension Service Agent Patrick Torres
  • Consultation with NMSU faculty
Answer calls, get caller information, research the problem, return the call.
Location:
Master Gardener Office, County Extension Service Annex Building, 3229 Rodeo Road
Goal:
Assist the County Extension Service Agent by answering questions from home gardeners. Learn what's on the minds of other home gardeners.
Looking for volunteers who…
…enjoy speaking with the public and are eager to investigate gardening problems and questions.
Work Schedule:
Saturday and Wednesday mornings from 9 AM-noon. Begins the first week in May and runs through October.
